In a heavy bottom pan, add sugar and water.
Mix well and on medium flame cook sugar syrup until it reaches 2-string consistency.
Add mawa and cardamom powder. Mix well on low flame.
When peda mixture leaves the sides of the pan then switch off the gas
Allow to cool down the mixture and smooth peda mixture.
Now take some mixture in hand and make a round shape peda from it.
Garnish peda with pistachio slits and serve.
