Ingredients
 

  • 2 cup murmura - puffed rice
  • 1 cup thin nylon sev
  • 6-8 papadi puri
  • ¼ cup chopped tomatoes
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup boiled potatoes
  • 2 tbsp raw mango pieces
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • ¼ cup coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp chat masala
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp roasted cumin seeds
  • 4 tsp green coriander chutney
  • 4 tsp tamarind chutney
  • 1 tsp garlic chutney

Garnish

  • Sev
  • Papadi puri
  • Chopped onion
  • Coriander leaves

Instructions

  • In a pan, add 2 cups murmura and dry roast till they are crisp.
  • Then in a large bowl, add sev and papdis by breaking them into small pieces.
  • Now add tomatoes, onion, boiled potatoes, raw mango, and pomegranate seeds.
  • Also sprinkle chaat masala, salt, and roasted cumin powder.
  • Now drizzle green chutney, tamarind date chutney and red garlic chutney. Quickly mix everything.
  • Finally garnish with more sev, papadi, chopped onion and coriander leaves. Serve immediately before it gets soggy.

Notes

  • you can use puri of panipuri or khakhara pieces instead of papdi puri
  • Be careful while adding salt since chaat masala and chutney also have salt in them.
  • The consistency of chaat chutney should be thick.
  • Instead of garlic chutney, you can use red chilli powder.
