Ingredients
 

For moong dal dosa batter

  • 1 cup moong dal
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 inch ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup or 100 ml water

For mysore bhaji

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 medium size finely chopped onion
  • ½ cup chopped capsicum
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp pavbhaji masala
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • Potato bhaji
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Some coriander leaves
  • Serve with butter

For moong dal dosa

  • Dosa batter
  • Butter
  • Chaat masala
  • Red chilli powder
  • Some coriander leaves

Instructions

Making moong dal dosa batter

  • Add soaked moong dal, green chilli, ginger, salt, and some water in a mixture jar.
  • Grind it into smooth batter.
  • Keep it aside.

Making maysore bhaji

  • In a pan, add oil, ginger-garlic paste and onion. Sauté till onion is translucent.
  • Add chopped capsicum and cook until it becomes slightly soft.
  • Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and pavbhaji masala. Mix well.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and salt. Cook tomatoes till they become soft and mushy.
  • Then add potato bhaji (please refer to recipe video) and some water. Mix well and mash bhaji with a masher.
  • Lastly add lemon juice, coriander leaves and some butter. Mix well.
  • Spicy and tasty mysore bhaji is ready.

Making moong dal dosa

  • Now heat, tawa and grease it with oil. Spread dosa batter with a ladle.
  • Spread some butter and Sprinkle some chaat masala, red chilli powder and coriander leaves.
  • On medium flame cook dosa till it becomes crispy. Serve dosa with mysore bhaji, sambhar and chutney.

Notes

  • mash bhaji with masher so everything is well combined.
  • lower the temperature of tawa before you spread the dosa.
  • for crispy texture, cook the dosa on medium flame.
