Peel and cut lauki into pieces.
In a mixture jar, add lauki pieces, ginger, coriander leaves, garlic cloves, green chilli, cumin seeds, salt and required water. grind into a smooth paste.
Now in a mixing bowl, add lauki paste, besan, semolina, curd, hing, turmeric powder, ajwain and salt. Mix well.
Add water gradually and make a thick and flowing better.
Cover and rest for 15 minutes or until the semolina absorb water well.
Then add baking soda and lemon juice. Mix well. The batter becomes fluffy.
Heat oil in a pan; sprinkle some white sesame seeds in a pan.
Add batter and spread it evenly.
Cook for 5 minutes on low-medium flame or until the base gets cooked well.
Now flip over and cook base for 3-4 minutes.
lauki ka nashta is ready to serve with tomato ketchup.
