Ingredients
 

For sandwich chutney

  • 1 cup or 100 grms coriander leaves
  • ½ cup or 25 grms mint leaves
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • 4 green chilli
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2 tbsp peanuts
  • 3 tbsp nylon sev
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp black salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 4-5 ice cubes

For ghughra sandwich

  • 9 bread slice white/brown
  • 4 tbsp butter or according to taste
  • ½ cup sandwich chutney
  • ½ cup capsicum - finely chopped
  • ½ cup onion - finely chopped
  • ¾ cup grated cheese
  • Chaat masala
  • Black pepper
  • Black salt

Instructions

For sandwich chutney

  • In a grinding jar, add coriander leaves, mint leaves, curry leaves, green chilli, garlic, ginger, peanuts, sev, chaat masala, salt, black salt, lemon juice and 4-5 ice cubes. Grind into a smooth paste.

For ghughra sandwich

  • Take bread slices and remove its edges. Spread butter and green chutney on it.
  • Now spread chopped onion and capsicum on it.
  • Then sprinkle chaat masala, black pepper powder and black salt on it.
  • Grate cheese cubes or any cheese of your choice on the top of the filling.
  • Place one bread slice on the other and cover with a bread slice with butter and green chutney.
  • Toast the sandwich on tawa by spreading butter.
  • Finally cut half and serve ghughra sandwich with tomato ketchup.

Notes

  • Use of ice cubes while grinding chutney helps to retain its green color.
  • Roast sandwich on medium-low flame.
