Ingredients
 

Aloo matar sandwich

  • 1 cup or 2 medium size boiled and mashed potatoes
  • ¼ cup boiled green peas
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1 tbsp green chilli paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Some coriander leaves
  • Bread slices
  • Butter
  • Green chutney
  • Tomato sauce

Instant rava uttapam

  • 1 cup sooji rava - coarse rava
  • ½ cup curd
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup water or as required
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup chopped capsicum
  • ¼ cup grated carrot
  • ½ cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp green chilli paste
  • ½ tsp ginger paste
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Oil for roasting

Roti pizza

  • 2-3 left over rotis
  • ¼ cup tomato sauces
  • 2 tbsp red chilli sauce
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp red chilli flakes
  • grated cheese
  • onion slices
  • small pieces of tomato and capsicum
  • some boiled sweet corn
  • red chilli flakes
  • oregano

instant dhokla

  • 1 cup or 2 medium size chopped raw potatoes
  • ½ cup curd
  • 3-4 green chilli
  • ½ inch ginger
  • 1 cup fine rava
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2-3 tbsp water or as required
  • ½ tsp eno - for half of batter
  • Red chilli powder
  • Black pepper powder

For tempering

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • 2 chopped green chilli

Instructions

Making aloo matar sandwich

  • In a mixing bowl, add boiled potatoes and green peas.
  • Now in a pan, add oil, cumin seeds, hing, green chilli paste and ginger paste. Sauté it.
  • Then add chopped onion and sauté till it become translucent.
  • Now lower the flame, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and some water. mix well.
  • Switch off the gas and add masala into mixing bowl.
  • Also add salt, lemon juice and some coriander leaves. mix well.
  • Aloo matar sandwich masala is ready. keep it aside.
  • For assembling, Take one bread slice, spread butter on it. Then spread green sandwich chutney in it.
  • Add potato masala and spread it with spoon.
  • Take another slice of bread, spread butter and tomato sauce on it. place the bread on masala slice and close it.
  • Apply butter on the top of sandwich.
  • Place sandwich in grill pan and toast it for 3-4 minutes.
  • Serve aloo matar sandwich with tomato sauce and chutney

Making rava uttapam

  • In a mixing bowl, add sooji rava (semolina), curd and salt. now add water gradually and make medium thick and pouring consistency of batter.
  • Cover and rest batter for 15-20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile in a mixing bowl, add chopped onion, tomatoes, capsicum, grated carrot, coriander leaves, chaat masala and salt. Mix well. Vegetable stuffing is ready.
  • Now heat, tawa and grease it with oil. Spread uttapam batter with ladle.
  • Spread vegetable stuffing on uttapam and press it slightly.
  • Apply some oil on sides of uttapam. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame.
  • When lower sides become crisp, flip uttapam and cook it on another side. Cook it for 3-4 mintes.
  • Serve Instant rava uttapam with coconut chutney.

Making roti pizza

  • Make a small slits into left over rotis. Now on medium heat fry roti till it become crispy and golden brown from both the sides.
  • Then in a bowl, add tomato sauce, red chilli sauce, oregano and chilli flakes. Mix well. Instant pizza sauce is ready.
  • Now on roti, apply some pizza sauce, spread some cheese, onion slices, tomato, capsicum, onion pieces and some sweet corn.
  • Sprinkle some cheese, chilli flakes and oregano.
  • Now in a pan, place a stand and plate on it. place roti pizza on it and bake it on low flame till cheese is completely melts.
  • Serve roti pizza with tomato sauce.

Making instant dhokla

  • In a mixing jar, add chopped potato pieces, curd, green chilli and ginger. Grind it into smooth paste.
  • Add grinded paste into mixing bowl, also add rava, salt, sugar, lemon juice, and oil. Mix well.
  • Cover and rest batter for 15 minutes.
  • Now add 2-3 tbsp water if batter is slightly thick.
  • Divide batter into two equal parts.
  • In one part, Add eno fruit salt & mix in one direction.
  • Grease dhokla plate with oil & pour the mixture in plate.
  • Sprinkle red chilli powder and black pepper powder over the mixture.
  • Steam in idli-dhokla steamer or kadai for 12 min on med-high flame.
  • Once done take out plate from steamer & allow it to cool for 5-10 min.
  • Now heat oil into tadka pan, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, chopped green chilli and curry leaves. mix well and add tadka on dhokla.
  • Cut into desired shape. Serve with chutney.
