Ginger masala tea recipe | jaggery tea recipe | how to make Indian masala tea

A cup of Indian masala tea prepared with spice and ginger, to refresh and brighten your morning! There are many variations in tea recipes. In this recipe, I share two types of tea one are jaggery tea and another is ginger masala tea. I also share instant chai masala few tips to make the perfect tea every time. It is an ideal beverage during the monsoon or winter season as it provides the necessary warmth with it.

Ingredients
 

Jaggery tea

  • 2 cup water
  • 4 tsp jaggery
  • 4 cardamoms
  • 4-5 black pepper
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 2 tsp tea
  • ¾ cup milk

Ginger masala tea

  • 2 cup water
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 4 cardamoms
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 inch cinnamon
  • 2 tsp tea
  • 3 tsp sugar

Instructions

For jaggery tea

  • In a bowl, crush 4 cardamom, 4-5 black pepper, and 1 tsp fennel seeds and 1-inch ginger.
  • Now in a saucepan take 2 cup of water.
  • Add jaggery to hot water. Bring it to a boil.
  • Add crushed masala and tea powder and boil the mixture for 2-3 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat milk in another pan. when milk is boiled add it to jaggery tea.
  • Make one boil and Strain the tea using a tea strainer.
  • Enjoy jaggery chai along with your breakfast or evening snacks.

For ginger masala tea

  • In a bowl, crush 4 cardamoms, 3 cloves and 1-inch cinnamon.
  • Now in a saucepan take 2 cup of water.
  • grate 1 inch of ginger into hot water. Bring it to a boil.
  • Add tea powder and crushed masala and boil the mixture for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add milk and sugar to it.
  • boil for 2 minutes until the flavors are combined. do not overboil after adding milk.
  • Strain the tea using a tea strainer.
  • enjoy ginger masala chai along with your breakfast or evening snacks.

Notes

For jaggery tea
  • melts jaggery completely into the water.
  • add hot milk to jaggery tea.
For ginger masala tea
  • boil ginger with water, so it gives a nice flavor to the tea.
