Ingredients
  

For instant saunf sharbat premix

  • 1 cup or 100 grams saunf fennel seeds
  • 400 grams sugar
  • 20-22 cardamom
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp poppy seeds

For saunf sharbat

  • 2 tbsp instant premix powder
  • 1 glass cold water or milk
  • 2-3 ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, in a heavy bottom pan dry roast 1 cup saunf (fennel seed) and 20-22 cardamom for 3-4 minutes.
  • Cool down saunf and cardamom mixture.
  • Then take it into mixture jar and also add ½ tsp black pepper, 2 tsp poppy seeds and 4 cup of sugar.
  • Grind it into fine powder.
  • Sieve the powder and instant saunf sharbat premix is ready.
  • Store instant saunf sharbat premix into air tight container.
  • Then add 2 tbsp instant saunf sharbat premix into glass and add glass of water or milk in it. Mix well and served saunf sharbat with ice cubes.

Notes

  • Dry roast saunf increases the shelf life of premix powder.
  • Cardamom gives a nice flavor to sharbat premix powder.
  • store premix powder into an air tight container.
