The key to making tasty lachko bhel (geeli bhel) at home are
  • Firstly, I would heavily recommend using crisp and fresh murmura. So dry roast murmura on a low medium flame for about 5 mins to make it crisp.
  • Bhel mix is easy to make with puffed rice, peanut, roasted chana dal, fried poha, papadi, sev, and regular masala. You can also store it in an air-tight container for months.
  • Chat chutneys are easy to make also the consistency of the chutney should be liquidi, so it will easily absorb into bhel mix.
  • Lastly, once the lachko bhel is made, it has to be served immediately.
