The key to making dal palak tadka and jeera rice at home are

For dal palak tadka

  • firstly, in this, I have used only toor dal for dal tadka, however, you may experiment or even alter the combination by adding other lentils like chana dal or moong dal.
  • secondly, the consistency of dal should be medium and has to be in flowing consistency. do not make it with thick consistency as it may lose its taste and flavor.
  • lastly, the perfect combo meal for this dal recipe is jeera rice or any type of pulao, also tastes great when it is served hot.

For pressure cooker jeera rice

  • Firstly, Use long grain rice like basmati for pulao. Do not use small-grain rice instead of it.
  • Secondly, sauté jeera in ghee, and infuse its flavor into pulao.
